January 9, 2019 is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! To honor law enforcement we are hosting our third annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day 5K & 10K. We will be donating at least 15% of every registration to Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), who’s mission is “Rebuilding shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths, through partnerships with law enforcement and the community.”

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Did you know that 2019 is The Year of the Pig? The Chinese New Year in 2019 is on February 5th! So we are hosting a New Year’s Challenge for 2019! You can commit to compete 2.019 miles, 20.19 miles, or 201.9 miles between January 1 and February 5, 2019! You can complete your miles all at once, or spread them out, it’s totally up to you! How many miles will you get in the first month of 2019?

It’s cold outside, which can mean only one thing – it’s race time!

Gather up your thermal underwear and neck warmers and start training today for the 34th running of this Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K on Saturday, January 26, 2019.

Securian Financial Group embraces what Winter Carnival is all about – enjoying Saint Paul’s great outdoors, all year long. The Securian Winter Run features three races: the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K – each starting at Securian Center on the corner of Sixth and Jackson Streets. The starting gun for the Half Marathon will go off at 9 a.m., while the 5K, and 10K will begin just minutes later.

Early Discounted Registration Thru November 15, 2018. Prices will go up November 16th.

All proceeds from this event benefit Saint Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation, proud producer of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival and Cinco de Mayo West Side Saint Paul.

The 7th Annual Bridgewater Bank Luck o’ the Lake 5K Fun Run and 1 Mile run will be held on the beautiful streets of downtown Excelsior and through the streets of Greenwood, on Saturday, March 16, 2019. You will enjoy the scenic route along the shores of Lake Minnetonka. Finish up with a St. Paddy’s Day Celebration in Excelsior! The 1 mile starts at 9:00am and the 5k starts at 9:30am.

This race starts at The Boatworks Commons, (4459 Lake Ave S) on beautiful White Bear Lake. The course is flat and fast, 5K runs north along the lake to Matoska Park and then back to the Start/Finish at Boatworks Commons. The 5 mile course continues to West Park then Ramsey County Park and then into the White Bear Lake neighborhood before returning back to Lake Ave, Commercial Bay and the finish at Boatworks Commons. The registration includes an event T-Shirt. Rotary Volunteers are at the Start/Finish and on the course supporting the runners. All of the proceeds of the race go to the Strive Scholarship Inc Fund which is a 501c(3) tax-exempt, non-profit entity.

Awards will be given to the top male and female as well as the top 3 male and female in each age group.

Anoka County 4-H is hosting our 9th Annual 4-H Clover Dash. We will be having a 5K Run/Walk and a 2 Mile Walk. Race route will wind through the scenic Bunker Hills Regional Park on paved trails. Funds raised from this event will go to support Anoka County 4-H programs and scholarships. This event is for everyone, runners, walkers, etc. Invite family, friends and co-workers for a fun-filled morning to help support 4-H youth programming in Anoka County. Medals and/or prizes awarded to top finishers. Random prize drawings for all participants except those 10 & under who will receive medals & goodie bags. Register 4 participants and get the 5th one of equal or lesser value free (available with mail or drop off only). Race day registration from 7:30-8:30 am onsite (cash or checks only). Join us on Madeline Island in the beautiful Apostle Islands for a marathon or half marathon! You’ll catch a ferry from Bayfield, WI and enjoy the views of Lake Superior on your way to our destination races!
We recommend that all runners arrive on the island on Friday, May 17, 2019 and stay for the weekend. Our races are followed by a post-race party that you won’t want to miss! Complete with live music, food and refreshments and an awards ceremony.
There are hotel and camping options on Madeline Island.
Registration for the race is now open and will be limited to 150 in the full and 300 in the half. Courses are point to point with one section of out and back in each race. Courses are mostly pavement with a section of packed gravel road in each race. Courses are certified USATF and the full marathon is a Boston Qualifier.
